Tyne Triathlon Club AGM
First up for Tyne Triathlon Club in 2020 is the club AGM. This shall be held in mid-January, but the exact date and venue are still TBC to keep an eye out for details.
As many of you will know our current chairman; Steve Addison; is expecting twins in spring. He will be taking a step back from triathlon (though still hoping to be a regular face around the club), and as such we will be looking for a new chair to lead the club into the new decade. This, and other positions that the club requires are as follows:
- Welfare Officer;
- Club Captain(s).
Other optional positions include (these positions may be rolled into the key positions above):
- Kit Secretary;
- Social Secretary;
- Events Organiser.
Tri January is back for 2020!
Tri January 2019 saw over 5,000 people get active through swim, bike, run. This year we would love to invite you to join us as we once again set out to help get the nation moving and having fun at the start of the Olympic and Paralympic year.
This year Tyne Triathlon Club is proud to be taking part, opening up our swim sessions at Elswick Pool to the scheme. If you, or anyone you know has considered giving triathlon a go why not start with the arrival of the new decade!
How will it work?
From Wednesday 1 January, participants will be able to download a free bingo card containing a whole host of health, fitness and triathlon related activities for them to complete during the month.
With bingo cards for both children and adults, participants will be encouraged to tick off activities from their card and share their progress with us on social media as they go.
Events of Interest
