This week has seen multiple races around the country, three of which included Tyne Triathlon athletes; Nottingham Sprint Triathlon, Cleveland Sprint Triathlon, and The Outlaw Half.

Nottingham Sprint Triathlon

First over the line for Tyne Triathlon was Simon Elliot in a time of 1:17:33. Next to finish was Don Shotton in 1:26:13, which looks like 1st in Age Group and fast enough to qualify Don for the European Sprint Championships being held in Glasgow this year! Unfortunately Chris Pearce had transport issues and had to settle for a speedy parkrun back in Newcastle after being rescued by the AA!

Cleveland Sprint Triathlon

Cleveland sprint marked Sarah Addison’s first foray into triathlon (other than a Tri a Tri) last year. She put together a fantastic debut finishing in 1:25:30. Also racing was her older brother, Steve Addison, finishing in 58:09 and taking 2nd Senior Male!

Outlaw Half

Michael Morrow was first Tyne Triathlon member over the line in a time of 6:36:04, followed by Antony George in 6:57:35.
